Our company has obtained the international standard for quality management systems, ISO9001:2015. By expanding the EFfCI GMP certification to our Nasu Factory, we have further strengthened our system for managing the quality and safety of our products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u3000This certification required partial structural improvements to the factory buildings and facilities, including the installation of an anteroom and changing rooms, as well as bird and insect control measures. While setting up the anteroom and changing rooms, we came up with the idea of \u200b\u200bseparating the \u201cwhite coat area\u201d from the \u201cwork clothes area.\u201d To maintain this environment and improve knowledge of EFfCI GMP, we are focusing on employee education and working toward make it a part of our culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nippon Surfactant Industries will continue to further improve its quality control system to continuously deliver high quality and safe cosmetic ingredients to our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n (Note 1) EFfCI GMP: A GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standard specific to cosmetic ingredients established by the European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients (EFfCI) with headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. GMP is a set of rules and systems to ensure that products are made \u201csafely\u201d and maintain \u201ca certain level of quality\u201d in all processes, from receiving ingredients to manufacturing and shipping. This set of rules is based on and references the \u201cGMP Guidelines for Pharmaceutical Excipients\u201d by IPEC-POG (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council and Pharmaceutical Quality Group) and adopts the ISO9001:2008 framework. These rules are known to be strict, including GMP requirements not covered by ISO.<\/p>\n\n\n Nippon Surfactant Industries Co., Ltd. has newly obtained the EFfCI GMP (Note 1) certification, the European standard for cosmetic ingredients, at its Nasu Factory.
