NIKKOL GROUP Nippon Surfactant Industries Co., Ltd. obtained Halal certification for its Nasu Factory in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, on October 28, 2018. from Muslim Professional Japan Association (MPJA). Because MPJA has mutual recognition arrangements with foreign certification bodies. including Jabatan Kemajuan Islam in Malaysia and LPPOM MUI in Indonesia, Nippon Surfactant’s Halal certified ingredients can be used for personal care products to be sold in those markets.
